Time compression and expansion
Time compression and expansion changes the length of audio without intending to change pitch.

Explanation
Time compression makes audio shorter, while time expansion makes it longer. It is useful for fitting samples, dialogue, loops, or effects to a required timing, but extreme changes can create artefacts.
